A double-fronted timber cottage on a large site was oozing with potential, but needed to be updated and brought into the modern age.

The front four rooms of the cottage were retained and restored as a children's zone, and a new two storey addition - set at a lower level - was designed to provide better accesses to the garden, with a new first floor master suite.
