With a passion for food and entertaining, the brief for this house was to be fun, sophisticated and modern, with the kitchen as the heart of the home.

Originally part of a 1980's townhouse development, the house had good bones, yet lacked personality. It also needed opening-up to take advantage of city views and the courtyard garden.

With a nod to the aesthetic of a commercial kitchen, an industrial feel was incorporated to give this home its own individuality.
