When the client bought this house they were a young family. Yet as their needs changed, a secondary living space became desirable along with a new kitchen.

The addition to the old cottage needed to be thoughtfully tackled, and the client wanted a balance of old and new, with a reference to the houses' stabling yards history.

A soft palette and refined materials were used to produce a luxurious and generous interior feeling connecting the old and new.
