captain's quarters
Some projects are a labour of love.
The owners fell for the charm of this original waterfront Captain’s house and the spectacular location on the harbourfront.
Strict requirements to preserve the existing building, neighbouring views as well as sandstone outcrops and established trees all needed to be accommodated.
The existing building was fully retained and updated, with a new modern “living” wing incorporated to link the streetfront, rear foreshore and old house together.
A beautiful and timeless addition to an old gem.
